Why We Built SEOAudits

We are developers who run websites. And we were frustrated with existing SEO tools. Every popular SEO platform is SaaS-only — meaning your site data, your client data, and your audit results live on someone else's servers. For agencies handling sensitive client information, this creates compliance headaches (GDPR, SOC 2, HIPAA). For developers, it creates vendor lock-in.

We asked: What if an SEO tool worked like GitLab? Open source, self-hosted, with a SaaS option for those who want it. That is SEOAudits.
